I have a continually expanding set of items that I make, and a growing library of images to engrave on them. The pictures I show here are just meant to stimulate your imagination. I can make anything you see larger or smaller, put different images on it, or make something entirely different. Please look through everything; there is bound to be something you like.

2007 Marine Parents United Conference Donation Box
This will be the third year that I have donated something to the Marine Parents United Conference. This box is dedicated to all the Marines that were involved in the flag raisings on Iwo Jima. I recently read John Bradley Jr.'s book "Flags of our Fathers", and that convinced me to build this box for the conference. It has the six flag raisers from the famous photo on the front of the box, with the battle plan on one end and the defenses on the other. A short synopsis of the battle is on the back. The famous photo is on the top of the lid, and inside the lid are several pictures about the series of events that took place that 4th day of the battle. |

2008 Marine Parents United Conference Donation Box |
The 2008 donation box features the Iwo Jima flag raising once again, but this time I engraved the image on a set of six 4-inch ceramic tiles. The tiles were then inset into the lid. I also engraved the bottom of the box, to record that it was donated to the Marine Parents United Conference , and that it was made by me. Tiles add another level of drama, especially with the Red Mahogany wood stain. Images can be spread over several tiles like you see above, or on a single tile. I have run a few pieces on an 8x10 tile, and they look really nice, too. Dividing the image between tiles allows you to enlarge an image. For instance, you could take a 4x6 photo and divide it up on 12x12 tiles, and wind up with a 4 foot by 6 foot image. (The image would need to be scanned at a very high resolution) |
